Serving

Serving is a great way to become more connected, grow as a Christian disciple, and develop deeper relationships with others as you work alongside them. Jesus taught and modelled servant leadership throughout his life. One of his last lessons for his disciples was a supreme example of humility and service - washing the disciples feet (John 13:13-17).

For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life. Ephesians 2:10

Just about everything that happens at DCBC is organised by volunteers. Take a look around and give something new a go! Talk to someone in leadership about where would be a good fit for you to serve.

Musos

If you love making music, come join one of our worship teams.

Worship the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
- Psalm 100:2

Kids

Don't mind sticky hands and play-dough stuck to your shoes? There are loads of opportunities to help with our kids programmes at DCBC.

Foodie

Opportunities abound for foodies; serving, cooking, hosting meals, camp cooks, and providing meals for the sick or others in need.

Handy-people

Handy people are always in need! Whatever your skill set, we can probably find a use for it.

Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.
- Col 3:23

Prayer

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
- James 5:16

Tech Savvy

If you love attention to detail, you may enjoy serving on the sound-desk, recording sermons, being a camera operator for live video feeds, or helping with other technological matters.
