Local Mission here at DCBC focuses on serving the community through acts of compassion, outreach, and support, reflecting our commitment to living out our faith in practical ways.
Our goal is to build strong relationships within the community, help with the physical and spiritual needs of our neighbours, and demonstrate the love and teachings of Jesus Christ through tangible actions.
We seek to be a beacon of hope, promoting unity, kindness, and positive change in our local area.
Here are some of the ways we serve the community, though our outreach extends even further.

Lookout Music
Lookout Music is a fun, interactive, church-based music group for preschool children and their parents or primary caregivers.
We meet during school-term on Tuesdays, 10.00 -11:30am, at Dunedin City Baptist Church, Concord.
Sessions are designed to encourage an enjoyment of music in children, and development of both music and movement skills. The half-hour music session is followed by morning tea for both caregivers and children, and a playtime for the children. This is a valuable time of connection and friendship-building for all ages.
